NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 28-year-old Fox Hill resident is behind bars on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder.

Prosecutors say Mitchell Fox planned and carried out the broad daylight murder of businessman Eddie Miller with others on September 5.

Gunmen ambushed Miller as he was about to get into his car after leaving a store on Cowpen Road. Miller was killed in front of his wife and children.

Days before, on September 1, prosecutors allege that Fox and others were responsible for the shooting of Rodlyn Henfield and Sheron Thompson.

The incident happened at Ida Street.

Fox didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied, and Fox is back in court in March to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
