NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of a revenge murder has been granted $9,900 bail. Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson granted Brandon Evans bail after finding that he wasn’t a flight risk.

Prosecutors say the 29-year-old construction worker is responsible for the October 7, 2022 murder of Andy Johnson.

At the time of his death, Johnson was on bail for the 2019 murder of Evans’ brother, Brian Evans.

As a condition of bail, Evans will be electronically monitored and is required to check in at a police station on Weekdays and keep a curfew from 8pm to 6am.

He’s banned from deliberate contact with prosecution witnesses and has to surrender into custody on the first day of his trial.
