NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 28-year-old man is behind bars after prosecutors say he played a role in a broad daylight triple shooting.

Addison Hepburn, of Dorsett Street, Fox Hill, faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life concerning the June 1 incident.

Mallory Bullard, Carlton Brown, and Jayden Newton were in a white Acura in front of a marina on East Bay Street when a gunman opened fire on them before fleeing in a Nissan Juke.

Hepburn didn’t have to plead to the charges when he appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux.

He was denied bail because the magistrate lacks jurisdiction to consider bail for the offenses.

Hepburn, however, can seek bail in the Supreme Court.

He’s next in court on October 1 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
