A man in his 70s is dead after crashing his car into an office building this morning.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man in his 70s is dead after crashing his car into an office building this morning.

Jared Higgs tells us the man had some sort of physical complication while driving, and the lone employee in the building narrowly escaped being struck.



Inches is how far away 44-year-old Nkhrumah Johnson was from being struck by a Honda CRV that plowed into the office where he works this morning.

According to police, it was shortly after 8AM when the elderly driver of the vehicle was travelling south along Mackey Street when he started having some physical complications.

Drivers started blowing their horns at the man.

Police Press Liaison Officer Supt. Audley Peters tells us what happened next.

Footage shows where the man’s CRV went straight through one side of the building, and out the other side. A screen door of some kind lodged through the windshield.

Johnson, who has worked at the office for about 10 years, tried to assist the driver and called an ambulance.

Police are calling the fatality an unclassified death.

Johnson, a father of one, escaping the ordeal with minor cuts and bruises.
