NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man has been jailed for two years for violating the terms of his bail for a second time.

Jovaughn Pierre, 32, was granted bail for six counts of armed robbery, four counts of receiving and one count of indecent assault.

Pierre admitted to missing 101 police station check-ins between August 22, 2025 and February 13, 2026 at his arraignment before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.

Pierre asked for mercy, but the magistrate noted that it was his second conviction for failing to comply with his bail conditions.
