NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Director of families of all murder victims, Khandi Gibson is sharing her thoughts on the recent uptick in Marco alerts that have alerted the nation to missing children via blaring alerts on phones around the country.

Gibson says while she’s glad progress is being made, she has concerns.

Gibson adds while updates are important, she believes when the child is found those updates should be focused on the child’s wellbeing.

But in cases of runaways, she says the focus should be on the adult who was found harboring the minor.
