Mother and Daughter Found Dead in Apartment

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A double homicide occured Friday afternoon in New Providence after police were called to Ross Corner, leaving a mother and her daughter dead.

There they found two unresponsive bodies in an upstairs apartment. 

A foul odour and sight of flies coming from an upstairs apartment led residents of the Ross Corner area to summon police. 

When they arrived police breached the door where they found the partially decomposed bodies of two females.

Family members identifying the two victims as 37-year-old Allison Thompson and her 14-year-old daughter Trevorniqua Thompson, also known as Deija. 

Head of the Quakoo Street Police Station, Chief Superintendent Antonio Munroe says while the cry of conflict management is important, being aware of friends and company is also vital.

Friday would have been the deceased mother’s 38th birthday.

A family member who chose to remain anonymous says that both Allison and Deija were loving persons with great personalities.
