NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A mother left with heartache as her son, 31-year-old Giovanni Joseph was shot and killed shortly after six Monday morning.

The news sent shockwaves through what has been described as a quiet neighborhood on Providence Avenue.

Territa Joseph says her son was about to leave for work. He went outside to start his vehicle that’s when she heard the gunfire.

Authorities confirming the 31-year-old is not known to police. His mother described him as a humble person

Resident Deloris Adderley, who did not want to be seen on camera, says hearing the gunshots was a traumatizing experience as her son was gunned down in the same community outside her home in 2017.
