NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The National Child Labor Policy has been launched to monitor, prevent and report any forms of child labor in The Bahamas, according to Assistant Director of Labour Yolantha Yallop.

The goals of the policy includes:

•The prevention and prohibition of children from entering the labor market before the minimum age of employment.

•The removal of children from situations of child labor

•Increase public awareness, explaining the difference between child labor and acceptable work.
