Buddy Hield Scores 17 to Beat the Pistons

At the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference outside the play-in tournament looking in, Buddy Hield and is Indiana Pacers need every win they can muster, they pulled one off against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday, defeating them 121-115. 


Hield had 17 points on 7-15 shooting with 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. 

Jaylen Smith led the Pacers in scoring off the bench with 20 points along with 9 rebounds. Isaiah Jackson had 19 and 11 rebounds. Andrew Nembhard also had 19 points with 8 assists. Isaiah Livers led the Pistons with 19 points. 

Buddy and the boys play the Pistons again on Monday. 

Thompson and the Dubs Win Overtime Thriller

It’s been an up-and-down season for Klay Thompson and his Golden State Warriors, but on Saturday night, they showed their championship pedigree by beating the best team in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks, 125-116 in an overtime thriller in San Francisco. 

Klay dropped 22 on 8 of 16 from the field while making 6 of his 15 three-point attempts. 

The Warriors were in a dogfight with the Bucks, going back and forth. The Warriors looked done when the Bucks took a 108-100 lead with 2 minutes left in the fourth, but they fought back to force overtime at 111 apiece on a Stephen Curry step-back 3. 

Stephen Curry led the team in scoring with 36 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 assists. He went bonkers in the clutch, scoring a combined 22 points in the 4th quarter and overtime. Donte DiVincenzo had 20 points and 10 rebounds. Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez led the Bucks in scoring with 19 points apiece.   

Ayton Gets Double-Double in Loss to The Suns 

Nassau-born big man Deandre Ayton scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as his Phoenix Suns lost to the Sacramento Kings, 128-119. 

Devin Booker had 28 to lead the Suns and Chris Paul had 16 points and 16 assists. 

Harrison Barnes led the Kings with 19 points.
