GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The Ministry of Works is preparing to wrap up construction at the Holmes Rock Junior High School. In an exclusive interview with Our News, the Deputy Director at the Ministry of Works explains some of the reasons for the construction delay.

Ground was broken for the Holmes Rock Junior High School in 2016 and there have been a number of delays over the years.

Robert Mouzes, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Works, said come August, the school should be complete and ready to welcome students.

The deputy director says a part of the junior high school will also have an area designated as a hurricane shelter.
