NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Minister of Tourism recently meeting with Abaco residents about what the signing of a heads of agreement for Kakona, South Abaco means for the island’s economy and opportunities available there.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Minister of Tourism recently meeting with Abaco residents about what the signing of a heads of agreement for Kakona, South Abaco means for the island’s economy and opportunities available there.
Minister of Tourism, Investments And Aviation, Chester Cooper, notes the $800 million investment project will create hundreds of jobs on Abaco, while expanding opportunities for entrepreneurs, and creating a massive shift in the way of life for the island.
Cooper adding that plans for the development are going well, but there have been concerns about roads and infrastructure.
Requests for proposals will be sent out within the next 14 days.
