Chisholm Injured On Stolen Base Attempt

Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Twins began on a promising note for 25-year-old Jazz Chisholm, the Nassau-born superstar centerfielder for the Miami Marlins.

Jazz led the game off with a leadoff single. However, things went left for Jazz when he attempted to steal 2nd base, colliding with Twins 2nd baseman Kyle Farmer.

Jazz was taken out of the game, which the Marlins won 5-2 after the collision. He complained about numbness in his upper body.
Despite what appears to be a serious injury, Jazz has seemed to dodge the worst of it and he will be back in the lineup on Friday when the Marlins play the Mets. He’s anxious to be back, saying “I’m good until I’m not, I’m gonna be on that field until I can’t play on the field anymore.”
