NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In less than 24 hours, the first shipment of pediatric COVID-19 vaccines will arrive in country, but health officials say it won’t be mandatory.

Earlier this month, Health Minister Dr. Michael Darville indicated The Bahamas would get about 24,000 pediatric doses of Pfizer vaccines.

Dr. Darville says, like other COVID-19 vaccines, the pediatric vaccine is not mandatory.
