NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Those who have been keeping up on the Haiti crisis are weighing in on the state of affairs.

We asked residents if they think Haitian PM’s Ariel Henry’s decision to step down will improve the situation in Haiti.

Following a high level meeting of CARICOM officials, it was decided that a transitional presidential council will be formed to man things in Haiti until a fair election is called, something Mark Alexander says is long overdue.

A local pastor however disagrees, saying its the combination of poor leadership and foreign intervention thats to blame.
