NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Dr. Minnis led the Free National Movement to victory at the polls during the 2017 general election. While he was prime minister from 2017 to 2021, he brought the country through two major events: the COVID-19 pandemic and Hurricane Dorian in 2019. He then called an early election in September 2021, something some Bahamians have yet to forgive him for.

The party is currently being led by Michael Pintard. As the party prepares for its national convention on June 1st, here’s how they feel it will go.
