GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – For the third consecutive year, Rotary clubs on Grand Bahama are partnering with the Rotary Club of Fleming Island, Florida, to host the Rosani Lens Project on Grand Bahama. Hundreds of adults and children are able to attend the free initiative, have their eyes tested, and receive free eyewear with their custom prescriptions. Here’s eye test equipment operator for Rosani, Preston Mangus, with more.

The three-day initiative attracted hundreds of residents in need of eye care. Day one and two catered to adults, while Saturday catered to children 12 and under. Local and international partners say the support was overwhelming, indicating a great need on the island.

Meanwhile, Rotary Club of Grand Bahama President Roosevelt Rolle Jr. says they are always eager to partner with the project.

As the support continues to grow on the island, organizers are already planning to expand their services for next year.
