NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Grand Bahama based business will be expanding to the island of New Providence. Sawyers Fresh Market will open its doors at the Hurricane Hole Marina on Paradise Island in the first half of 2023.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, Chester Cooper, calling it a proud day for Paradise Island and the tourism product as Sawyer’s Fresh Market and the Sterling Global Financial solidified a partnership to bring the premier super market to the Hurricane Hole Marina.

Chief financial officer for Sawyer’s Fresh Market, Learline Moss says this will be the company’s second attempt at opening on the island. However, they believe the company is more mature and poised for success at this time.

As residents continue to grapple with the rising costs of food prices, Moss says that Sawyer’s prides themselves on being affordable.
