Short Term Rental Gov’t Portal Launched
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Beginning March 1, all property owners operating their residences as short-term vacation rentals will be required to register their properties by the end of april in a newly launched portal.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Beginning March 1, all property owners operating their residences as short-term vacation rentals will be required to register their properties by the end of april in a newly launched portal.
The goal? To ensure that all owners in the market are maintaining a high standard of service and meeting all tax obligations.
Acting Controller at Department of Inland Revenue Shunda Strachan spoke to Or News about the importance of the portal.
