Anthonique Strachan came third today in the semifinal of the 200m in a time of 22.30. She advances to the final tomorrow at 3:40 p.m. Bahamas time.

Devynne Charlton also ran, coming in 4th place in the 100m finals, finishing in a time of 12.52 seconds, her highest placed ever at a World Championship event.

And finally, NCAA national javelin champ Rhema Otabor’s run in the championships came to an end yesterday. She had a throw of 53.62 meters during the qualifying round.

BJ Murray continues to light up the minors.

He helped his Tennesee Smokies pull out a win yesterday.

BJ Murray of the Tennesee Smokies continues his hot hitting. The switch-hitting third baseman went 2-5 with an RBI and a run as the Smokies beat the Chatnooga lookouts 8-4.
