Summer Camp Looks To Create Eco Youth Leaders

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – With today marking the official first day of summer, summer vacation is on the minds of many parents across the country, as well as which camps they’ll be sending their kids to. In tonight’s edition of “Sustainability First,” our Marlena Leonard talks to the director of a summer camp looking to create the next generation of Bahamian game changers.

Director of the Sustainable Studio Camp Ava Turnquest says the camp hopes to instill lessons and skills that go beyond summer vacation.

The camp is open to ages 8 to 16 and spans from July 1 to July 26.
