NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A teen boy is in police custody in connection with the stabbing of another boy on Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the incident happened just before 4pm on Tuesday.

Reports are the 14-year-old Doris Johnson Senior High School student was walking on Fox Hill Road with a group of other male students when a man, who was riding a bus, stabbed him in the upper body.

The victim was taken to the hospital by ems where he is listed in critical condition.

Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings gave an update on the incident.
