NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 17-year-old boy facing three murder charges and five counts of attempted murder has been granted $40,000 by a Supreme Court.

The teenager, who has been in custody since last August, will be released from custody once his bail is signed.

The teen faces murder charges in the deaths of Ainsley Russell, Jaordly Avril and Meckel Bain.

Prosecutors say the teen shot dead Russell and injured Parnato Glinton in a shooting at Redland Acres on August 12.

The following day, prosecutors say the teenager fatally shot Bain in the front of his home on Kenilworth Avenue in South Beach.

He is further accused of fatally wounding Jaordly Avril and seriously injuring four others, including two minors, while they attended a baby shower at a home on Stack Avenue in Nassau Village on August 23.

The accused killer was represented by Bjorn Ferguson.
