NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There is no missing money at Bahamasair, according to the airline’s managing director, who refuted claims made by a former prime minister.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis recently claimed millions of dollars are missing from Bahamasair. Managing Director Tracey Cooper says that isn’t true.

Cooper  says it’s not unusual for Bahamasair to hire other companies to carry out business on their behalf, and in Haiti, there are two companies.

Deputy Managing Director at Bahamasair, Prince Storr also explained why flights were suspended to Port Au Prince.
