NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A young entrepreneur turned lockdowns into a sweet business, when spas closed their doors, and people began searching for do-it-yourself beauty hacks.

Twenty-eight-year-old Shiann Smith used the opportunity to create “The Sugar Pot”, a home-based business offering natural hair removal kits.

Smith has various hair removal kits for your level of comfort.

And, if you’re still worried about any slight discomfort, Smith explains what to expect.

Smith is currently a student in Canada, studying Biology with a minor in Statistics and a future plan to study medicine. She says her background has been very useful.

Her advice to other aspiring entrepreneurs is to go for it and try new things.
