Uber Opens Registration For Taxi Drivers In Saint Lucia

SAINT LUCIA – Uber is expanding to Saint Lucia – opening registration for licensed taxi drivers ahead of its launch.

General Manager Jorge Cordero says they’re looking for operators who want to increase their earnings through technology and tap into tourists who already use the app.

Uber said in a statement that onboarding is now live, with drivers asked to submit their license, taxi permit, insurance and banking details.

Uber says it will announce its launch date once sign-ups are complete.
