UNITED KINGDOM – The United Kingdom’s Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer says the days of cheap labor must end to wean the U.K. off its immigration dependency.

Sir Keir is calling for a plan to train British workers and move the economy away from its low pay model.

His speech comes at a time when businesses are calling for more migrant labor to boost economic growth.

Just Monday, U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak told business leaders having proper control of our borders was one of the immediate benefits of Brexit.
