NASSAU, BAHAMAS – And that was the last night Phillipa Christie she says she spent with her eldest son Jimmy Johnson before he, along with a family friend, were involved in a deadly collision on Queen’s Highway in Central Andros.

Phillipa Christie says her son had his challenges, struggling with bad company and drugs, but she believes he was trying to turn his life around.

Despite it all, his mom says Jimmy was a loving son and a devoted big brother to his younger siblings.

His death comes as another devastating blow for a family already reeling from several recent losses, including the death of her three brothers on Sir Milo Butler highway last September, however, Christie still clings to her faith.
