Western Air Launches Nassau to Eleuthera Route

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Western Air, The Bahamas based commercial airline is set to begin jet service between Nassau and Eleuthera on Friday, February 23, 2024.

The airline will provide direct flights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings and Sunday evenings. Operating the EMB145 LR, 50-seater jets, the flight time is a mere 15 minutes and will serve as an efficient, air alternative for locals and our country’s welcomed visitors, seeking to explore the beautiful island of Eleuthera.

The new North Eleuthera route marks the airline’s 10th destination. The schedule offers weekend getaway options with Friday and Sunday flight times and mid-week flight times to encourage frequent travel to and from North Eleuthera and the Capital.

Located just over 50 miles from Nassau, Eleuthera is an explorer’s dream with its natural wonders, pink sand beaches and family island appeal. This additional domestic air transportation is a part of growing air accessibility plan to the family islands throughout The Bahamas.
