NASSAU, BAHAMAS – While New Providence is no stranger to flooding after heavy rainfall, the East Bay Street area has had extreme flooding.

Senior Engineer in the Ministry of Works Francis Clarke says a survey was conducted recently to find out what caused the issue.

Clarke says the flooding was due to debris build-up. The civil engineer also revealing the Ministry of Works has been in continuous contact with the contractor.

And for people whose vehicles were damaged by the flooding.
