You Got It Going On!

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – International day of the girl was celebrated this past week on October 11th, but the message of strong women and girls continues year-round. Straw Inc. Center for Young Women hosting a special seminar for girls 10 through 11 but it wasn’t your typical sit down session.

Rev. Dr. Dianna Francis pouring into the young ladies of various schools across the island. Her message? The importance of self esteem.

She says the way you see yourself, love yourself and value yourself, all create a ripple effect in your life choices.

Dr. Francis also mixing it up a bit, giving this new spelling and definition for the word “Female.”

Dr. Francis recalls life choices she made in high school, some she thought would hinder the rest of herself but, she shares that she gave her life to christ at the age of 16 and was never the same.
