GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture hosting orientation for the Youth Leaders Certification Program in Grand Bahama this past weekend with the goal to engage, enable and empower young people.

Program facilitator, Kenneth Miller, noting that he graduated as the youngest participant during the first cohort in 2011 and now, will be a facilitator for the 14 week program.

Youth Program Coordinator, Carla Brown-Roker, noting that while it is great to have volunteers willing to work with young people, it is important that those volunteers have the necessary skill sets.
