50 New Differently Abled Hires

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It has been four weeks since the State Minister for the Public Service, Pia Glover-Rolle, announced the roll out of the Public Service Professional Engagement Program, an initiative to hire more differently-abled Bahamians in the public service. Our Marlena Leonard shares more on the official onboarding process for 50 new hires.

Applications for the Public Service Professional Engagement Program, also known as “PS-PEP” have been rolling in says the minister of state for the public service.

Glover-Rolle tells us that around 50 new hires have been approved as a result of the initiative, some with highly qualified backgrounds.

Glover-Rolle shares her hopes for the initiative.
