Haitian Man Pleads Guilty to Indecently Assaulting Teen Neighbor
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Haitian man who admitted touching his teenage neighbour in a sexual manner has been jailed for one year.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Haitian man who admitted touching his teenage neighbour in a sexual manner has been jailed for one year.
Fitfy-eight-year-old Eligene Alcika pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting the 16-year-old girl when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
The teen was home alone in April 8 when Alcika asked her to heat some food for him.
When she took the food to him, Alcika pulled her into his home and touched her genitals and breasts without her permission.
The teen fought Alcika off and ran away.
He will be handed over to immigration for deportation after he completes his sentence.
