Shooting Victim Charged With Murdering Man At Swinger’s Bar
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors allege that 38-year-old Darius Burnside fatally stabbed 43-year-old Derrick Smith during a fight at the Swinger’s Bar on April 18.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A shooting victim is behind bars facing a murder charge. Prosecutors allege that 38-year-old Darius Burnside fatally stabbed 43-year-old Derrick Smith during a fight at the Swinger’s Bar on April 18.
Gunshots were also fired during the incident and Burnside was grazed to the chin.
Burnside was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
Bail was denied and the matter was adjourned to July 31 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.
