NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 42-year-old man is behind bars awaiting sentencing after he was convicted of molesting a five-year-old boy.

Jose Thompson, a friend of the boy’s mother, allegedly touched and kissed the child’s genitals on three consecutive occasions in November 2020.

Thompson returns to court on July 8 for the penalty phase of his trial before Justice Joyann Ferguson.
