Man Accused of Inappropriately Touching Stepdaughter Granted $5K Bail
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 48-year-old man accused of inappropriately touching his 11-year-old stepdaughter has been granted $5,000 bail.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 48-year-old man accused of inappropriately touching his 11-year-old stepdaughter has been granted $5,000 bail.
Prosecutors say the man indecently assaulted his wife’s daughter twice this year. The man’s name has been withheld to conceal the identity of the alleged victim.
The accused was not required to enter pleas to the charges as he will be tried in the Supreme Court.
The case is expected to be fast-tracked to the High Court on November 10 with the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
