Minor League Baseball

Headed into the final week of the aa Southern League regular season, BJ Murray and his Knoxville Smokies have been eliminated from the playoffs but there’s still a lot for the Chicago Subs prospect to play for.

Murray, comes into the homestretch with 19 homers on the season, and 87 RBI, leading in both statistical categories.

Murray is batting .242 with a .768 ops, and has been one of the main offensive weapons for Knoxville, delivering clutch hits, extra-base power, and run production.

The Smokies conclude the season with a four games against the Montgomery Biscuits

If Murray pulls it off, it won’t just be a personal milestone–it’ll be a major addition to the resume and also be another step toward a call-up.
