NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An armed robbery took an embarrassing turn when the culprits found themselves trapped inside a store’s freezer.

Tieko Moss, 24, and Janvonne Rolle, 26, pleaded guilty to armed robbery today and were sentenced to three years in prison as part of a plea bargain.

On December 31, 2017, the men went into Hurry Hurry Meat Mart and robbed the cashier of $410 at gunpoint.

But before they could flee with the money, the store owner who was armed with a shotgun confronted them.

The terrified duo sought cover in the freezer and remained there until police arrived.

The officers recovered the money and a fake gun.
