Grand Bahama Junkanoo Groups Receive Increased Seed Funding
GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Grand Bahama’s Junkanoo groups are getting a major boost ahead of the 2026 New Year’s Day parade.
At a special presentation this week at Pelican Bay Resort, groups received their annual seed funding, with each “A group” seeing an increase from $9,000 to $12,000.
Other groups also received additional funding.
