GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Executive Director of Waterkeepers Bahamas, Andurah Daxon, shares how Grand Bahamians are taking a hands-on approach in protecting our vulnerable environment.

A part of the Waterkeepers mandate is to be gatekeepers for the environment.

The organization recently partnered with LUSCO development for the completion of a new causeway adjacent to the Taino Beach Bridge.

Daxon commends companies that keep the environment at the forefront.

Next on the agenda for Waterkeepers is upping their planting efforts, as December through May is a dedicated time of planting, just before the hurricane season.
