UK’s King Charles Jets to US for 4-day Trip

UNITED STATES – Britain’s King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in the United States this morning for a four-day trip.

The U.S. tour is the first by a British monarch in two decades, and it also comes amid heightened security concerns following a recent incident in Washington D.C. attended by Donald Trump.

It begins with a private meeting with self-proclaimed royal fan President Donald trump, including an address to congress, and a lavish dinner at ​the White House.

The state visit marks the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence from British rule.
