UNITED STAES – Deandre Ayton and the Los Angeles Lakers lost both games on the road to the Oklahoma City Thunder and are now facing an uphill battle in the Western Conference semifinals.

Ayton was just 1-of-7 from the field and scored three points, but had a game-high 10 rebounds in the Thunder’s 125-107 win last night at the Paycom Center to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

The Lakers led at the half, but OKC dominated the third quarter to take control for good.

L.A. then got as close as five points in the fourth before the Thunder pulled away again for good.

The series heads back to L.A. Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. for what feels like a must-win Game 3 for the home team at Crypto Arena.
