CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC – Hopes are fading of finding survivors at the collapsed gold mine in the Central African Republic.

It’s been two days since this devastating disaster claimed over 100 lives, and left many still buried under debris.

Rescuers at the site in Zam-Boye are working hard to recover bodies.

However, local miners say they lack the proper equipment, and expertise is making it difficult.

Eyewitnesses tell of seeing victims suffocating, as people tried to help them.

The local Red Cross is on the ground, and more than ten bodies were found just this morning.

Sadly, the toll keeps rising.
