NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The World Health Organization’s strategic advisory group of experts on immunization releasing highlight’s from their most recent meeting that was held last week.

In a press conference, Sage officials say they reviewed a range of vaccine policy issues, including W.H.O.’s interim guidance on monkeypox vaccination, its immunization agenda 2030, and variant-containing covid-19 vaccines.

When it comes to covid, they’re are taking a deeper look at vaccines that focus on specific variants, says Chairman Dr. Alejandro Cravioto.

There are currently four variant-containing vaccines for covid-19.

When it comes to what the data says, Dr. Cravioto says sage is still breaking down the statistics.
