GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Police reporting an increase in crime on Grand Bahama. Police there releasing those numbers for the first time this year, updating the media on some of the biggest investigations on that island.

Officer-in-Charge of the Criminal Investigation Department in Grand Bahama, Detective Superintendent Darrell Weir presented the first GB specific statistics so far for the year, including a breakdown of their main issues.

Weir also offered updates on some of Grand Bahama’s biggest ongoing investigations, like accused killer Kendrick Hanna’s whereabouts.

Hanna disappeared after being released on bail for the murder of single mother Monet Darville.

Meanwhile, the skeletal remains found in Tynes Bay are now in the hands of a pathologist.
