NASSAU, BAHAMAS – DPM Cooper outlines the Davis administration’s next move since the failure of the sale of the Grand Lucayan Resort.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – More than a week ago it was announced that the sale of the Grand Lucayan Resort had fallen through, leaving many to wonder what will be the Davis administration’s next move.
Some say they believe the reason for the collapse of the sale is the slow movement on the redevelopment of the Grand Bahama International Airport.
You may remember that the airport was destroyed by Hurricane Dorian back in 2019. Forcing officials to move the airport to the former private facility, which residents say is simply not adequate for the nation’s second city.
The DPM calling a lot of comments surrounding the sale of the hotel and the airport development speculation.
He says the Davis administration will do what’s in the best interest of the Bahamian people.
