NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Anonymous death threats against the nation’s leader, still under active police investigation, as former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis is weighing in.

Dr. Minnis says while he does not condone violence, and believes that prime ministers should be protected, he feels the additional police security was overkill.

When Our News spoke to Prime Minister Philip Davis following Friday’s announcement about the death threats, the PM said he felt safe.

Dr. Minnis also believes the daDis administration must work to address issues that are festering anger among residents.
