NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A row breaking out on the floor of Parliament, Wednesday, as members of the Official Opposition demanded question and answer time which has seen multiple delays.

What was expected to be a short meeting in parliament turned into a shouting match between both sides as the official opposition spoke out over another delay of question and answer time.

Question and answer time is typically scheduled for the second Wednesday of every month.

But today, Parliament started with Opposition Leader Michael Pintard raising the issue.

Leader of Government Business, Obie Wilchombe said it will happen when the House resumes on February 20.

That statement prompted the back and forth.

House Speaker Patricia Devaux then moved to adjourn Parliament for five minutes, but when Parliamentarians returned, the Opposition began chanting as the House went on with its agenda.
