NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As regional heads convene in The Bahamas for the 44th Caribbean Heads of Government Meeting, it will not be the first time the country has served as host.

Former Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham served as CARICOM Chairman on six different occasions during his tenure.

Former Minister Brent Symonette says one thing The Bahamas knows, is how to host.

The opening ceremonies are set for Wednesday at 6:30pm at the Atlantis Resort while the plenary sessions are scheduled for Baha Mar’s convention center beginning on Thursday.
